As you can see from this photo overlooking the Stiperstones, I really need a new wing for this car! It is so rusty
there's holes in it. The door is not rusty, It's just very muddy ;) The person who last had it said the wing is
newer than the rest of the car. So that shows you metal from the 80's is better than that of the 90's and 00's!

When I first had the 205, I found it hard to drive. Mainly because the clutch pedal was so hard to push down.
Anyway I got use to it

The 205's interior is still very good. Almost everything works, and the radio has RDS, so it says
Radio 1 instead of FM 98.50! According to the dashboard the car has done 39200 miles. Somehow I think this is wrong
and it's eiether been clocked, or it's been around the clock and done 1,039,200 miles!

Going fast through muddy puddles and places is a great idea if you want your car to look really muddy, and mine does.
Looks good I think. all that mud over the bonnet! It's also great because it goes through the wing with a hole in it,
under the bonnet and into all the workings of the car. Oh No!

Back in the 1980's, the 205 was the hottest hatch around. I'm talking about the 1.9 GTi model, which is why I have
the 1.7 diesel model! The GTi's were fast, but when insureance costs went sky high, no as many where sold. It
almost killed all the hot hatches. But it didn't becuase we still have the 206 GTi.
I've done a lot of work at this car (with the help of someone who knows what there doing). These things include
a new radio, making an alternator from a Peugeot 405 fit and work on it. The list goes on.

The 205 is a great car. If you want a car to muck about in, look in the classifieds of over newspaper for £100-200.
Or ebay, sometimes they go for less than £20. £20 for a car! OK, so it may by 10-15 years old,
so what?
I have to use this car everyday, as my school bus doesn't pick me up at my house, it picks me up half a mile away, so
I drive there, and there's a handy place to park and leave it. Saves me from walking if my Mum is late!
